Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA, Switzerland. When you visit, technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) is stored in server log files to ensure secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Switzerland is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
Contact form and email
When you contact us via the form or by email, we process your details (name, email address, optional phone number, message, request details) and uploaded documents to answer your request and prepare a quote (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Documents may contain sensitive data; we process it solely to fulfil your order. To prevent abuse, your IP address is stored briefly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Our emails are processed via Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland). A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. A data processing agreement is in place with Google.
To produce certified translations and obtain certifications, we pass the necessary documents to commissioned translators, interpreters, authorities and diplomatic missions.
Retention
Requests that do not lead to an order are deleted after 6 months. Order documents are kept in line with statutory retention obligations (generally 7 years under § 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code).

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Contact info@abc-office.eu. You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (www.dsb.gv.at).
